We often treat the New Year as a time for 'adding'—new goals, new habits, new pressures. But in Wayfinding, we recognize that you cannot find your North if your hands are too full of the old map.

As we stand at the threshold of 2026, I invite you to put down the 'Success Script' for a moment. Instead of asking what you want to achieve next year, ask yourself these three somatic questions:

  1. What am I carrying that isn't mine? (Identify the obligations you’ve taken on to please others or maintain an image).

  2. Where in my life does my breath feel shallow? (Pinpoint the areas—work, relationships, habits—that trigger a 'functional freeze' or constriction).

  3. If I stopped performing today, who would be left standing in the room?

The 'Un-becoming' is the most courageous work you will ever do. It is the clearing of the land before the new growth begins.

Before you click away, take one deep breath. Notice where your feet are touching the floor. You are here. You are safe. You are beginning.
