When I first moved to the farmette, I had big plans. Citrus trees! Flowers everywhere! I planted according to my ideas—not the land’s wisdom. And it showed. Some plants struggled, no matter how much energy I poured in.
Later, I learned citrus trees here actually thrive best in partial shade near oak trees—not in the blazing Florida sun where I’d put them. I’d been forcing instead of listening.
Change and resilience work the same way. Sometimes we waste energy pushing for something that isn’t aligned. But when we observe, adapt, and honor the conditions that support growth, everything flows.
✨ Try this: Ask yourself: Where in my life am I forcing? Where might I shift to create space for what naturally wants to grow?
Resilience isn’t about pushing harder. It’s about aligning smarter. Growth comes from the right conditions, not sheer force.
Change and challenge aren’t roadblocks — they’re invitations. Each reset is a chance to rise stronger. You’re not lost. You’re a Wayfinder.
