Your privacy matters to me. This policy explains what information Soul North Wayfinding collects

through soulnorthwayfinding.com, how it is used and the choices you have. I have written it in plain

language, and the short version is this: I collect only what I need to share my work with you, and I do

not sell your personal information.

Who I am

Soul North Wayfinding is the work of Liz Stubbs, an author, broadcast director and communication

coach. In this policy, “I”, “me” and “my” mean Liz Stubbs and Soul North Wayfinding. You can reach

What information I collect

Information you give me. When you join my email list, Field Notes from the Farmette, you share

your email address and sometimes your name. If you write to me, I receive your message and contact

details.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site may receive basic technical

information when you visit, such as your browser type, device, approximate location, the pages you

view and the website that sent you. This is gathered through cookies and similar tools, and it is used

in combined form to understand how the site is working.

I do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, and I never ask for it through this site.

How I use your information

• To send you Field Notes, the free starter kit “Sprout Anew” and other updates you asked for.

• To reply to your questions and messages.

• To understand which pages and resources are helpful and to improve the site.

• To keep the site secure and to meet legal obligations.

Email

I send email through Flodesk, an email service provider. Flodesk stores your email address and

sign-up details for me and processes them under its own privacy policy. Every email includes an

unsubscribe link, and you can leave my list at any time with one click. You can also write to me and I

will remove you.

Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device. This site and the services it uses may set

cookies to make pages work, remember settings and measure visits. You can block or delete cookies

in your browser settings. If you do, parts of the site may not work as expected.

Other services you may meet on this site

• Hosting. The site is hosted and built with Hostinger, which processes visitor data needed to

deliver the site.

• YouTube. Some pages show videos from my YouTube channel. When you play a video, YouTube

and Google may collect information under their own policies.

• Amazon. My books are sold on Amazon. When you follow a link to Amazon and buy a book, that

purchase happens on Amazon, which handles your payment and personal details under its own

privacy policy. I do not receive your payment information.

• Other purchases. If you buy any other product directly through this site, payment is handled by a

third-party payment processor. I do not see or store your full card number.

• Social platforms. Links to YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, LinkedIn and similar sites take you to

services with their own privacy practices. I encourage you to read them.

Who I share information with

I do not sell your personal information, and I do not rent or trade my email list. I share information only

with the service providers named above who help me run the site and send email, and when the law

requires it or when needed to protect rights and safety. Those providers may only use your

information to provide their services to me.

How long I keep it

I keep your email address for as long as you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask me to delete

your information, I will do so promptly, except where I must keep a record for legal reasons.

Messages you send me are kept only as long as needed to respond and keep a reasonable record.

Your choices and rights

You can ask me to tell you what personal information I hold about you, to correct it or to delete it. You

can unsubscribe from email at any time. To make a request, write to liz@soulnorthwayfinding.com

and I will respond within a reasonable time.

California residents. You have the right to know what personal information is collected about you, to

request deletion and to be free from discrimination for using these rights. I do not sell or share

personal information for advertising.

Readers in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. I process your information

with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time, or where it is needed for my legitimate

interest in running this site. You also have the right to object to processing, to ask for your information

in a portable format and to complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

I and the services I use take reasonable steps to protect your information. No website or email service

can promise perfect security, so please use care when sharing personal details online.

Children

This site and my work are written for adults. I do not knowingly collect information from children under

16. If you believe a child has given me personal information, please write to me and I will delete it.

Where information is processed

I am based in the United States, and my service providers may process information in the United

States and other countries. By using this site, you understand that your information may be

transferred and stored outside your home country.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy as the site or the law changes. The effective date at the top shows when it

was last revised. If I make a significant change, I will say so on the site or by email.
